Getting Pulled Over? There's an App for That

OH Crap App"Shut up; Wise up; Lawyer up. Don't say anything; don't do anything; talk to a qualified attorney first."

That's the slogan of a new app designed to assist individuals with their legal rights if they find themselves being pulled over by law enforcement. The Oh-Crap-App features an emergency "Oh Crap" button intended to be used in situations where a person is being stopped or questioned by law enforcement. This button activates your phone's voice recorder and will record the conversation between you and law enforcement.

The app serves like a hand held attorney, listing basic legal rights when an officer wants to talk or do a search, and walking you through field sobriety tests and preliminary breath test. Plus, it has a blood alcohol calculator and can be used to contact an attorney, bail bondsman, or your emergency contact person.

Download the Oh Crap App ( now, so you're prepared in difficult situations. The application is free and does not store or forward your personal information to anyone unless you select the function to contact the on call attorney. The app is available for both Apple and Android phones.
